Become a trusted advisor
Become a trusted advisor not a salesperson. No one wants to be sold to. People want to be informed and educated. Focus on giving people valuable information. Start and maintain a Blog that highlight the good, the bad, and the ugly of your products or services. Always tell the truth regardless, don’t try to cover over the flaws of your products or services because sooner or later everyone see them anyway. Blog your products or services to life, if you do not someone will Blog your business to death.
Where do you look?
Do you turn on the radio to find a something you want to buy? Do you turn on the TV to find something you want to buy? Of course not, if you are like me you probably commercial hop. Gotta love TIVO! I think Big Foot has my yellow book and I might pick up a magazine to learn about something I want to buy. But more and more people hop on the internet to find the things that they want. Even if they do not buy online, the do their research online. I am not dissing offline advertising used properly, along with internet marketing, You make your net larger. I’m just saying that for the most part people don’t go surfing the TV, radio, or magazines for product information. But they do surf the NET for it.
So make your NET larger by using methods such as search engine marketing, display advertising, e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing, interactive advertising, blog marketing, and viral marketing. I will explain them all in future Blogs.
