# AI is a Utility Not A Strategy
When electricity was first introduced, it revolutionized the world. Pioneers like Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla played crucial roles in bringing electricity into widespread use, forever changing industries and daily life. Before its widespread adoption, industries were limited by the capabilities of manual labor and steam power. The advent of electricity powered new inventions, boosted productivity, and transformed the way we live and work. It wasn't a strategy in itself; rather, it was a powerful enabler of innovation and progress.
Fast forward to today, and we find ourselves at the cusp of another transformative era—this time powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Much like electricity, AI is not a strategy on its own. AI will solve problems we don’t have to solve anymore, allowing us to turn our brainpower to greater innovations—much like how electricity solved problems that once limited innovation. AI helps optimize, automate, and speed up the tasks we do today so we can focus on innovation. By leveraging AI to handle everyday tasks more efficiently, businesses can free up valuable time and resources, allowing teams to concentrate on developing new ideas and driving strategic growth.
